This flyer was created to advertise an Open Mic Night at the Muse Exchange, a community art and poetry showcase. I designed the poster in the style of '80's punk show flyers, drawing inspiration from DIY hand -drawn typography, bold high-contrast graphics, and collage-style layouts typical of the underground punk scene of that era. The aesthetic communicates energy, rebellion, and a sense of community, perfectly reflecting the spirit of that event. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the design, experimenting with distressed effects, irregular typography and layered textures.

This piece demonstrates my ability to adapt historical design styles to modern event promotion, creating a visually striking and culturally resonant flier.
